General
MA Renew provides online continuing education for medical assistants. Our courses are built to satisfy the CE requirements certifying bodies ask for at recertification, and you complete them at your own pace.
Certified and registered medical assistants who need continuing education credit, and anyone working in a clinical support role who wants to keep their skills current.
Create an account, choose either a single course or an annual membership, and start immediately. Nothing needs to be scheduled and there is no waiting period.
Courses & Credits
Credit hours are listed on every course before you enroll, so you always know what a course is worth before you pay for it.
Courses are self-paced. You can stop partway through and pick up where you left off, on any device.
Yes. A certificate of completion is issued as soon as you pass, and it stays available in your account. Keep it — certifying bodies audit a share of recertification applications, and a missing certificate is treated as a missing credit.
You can retake the assessment. There is no additional charge, and no limit that would leave you unable to earn the credit you paid for.
Recertification
Our courses are designed against the continuing education requirements medical assistant certifying bodies publish. Requirements differ by credential and change over time, so confirm the specifics with your own certifying body before you rely on a particular course.
That depends on your credential and your recertification cycle. Check your certifying body's current requirements, then plan backwards from your deadline rather than leaving the credits until the last quarter.
Credits generally count from the start of your current recertification cycle. Your certifying body defines that window, so check the dates before assuming an older course still applies.
Pricing & Billing
You can buy a single course on its own, or an annual membership that covers the full library for a year. Current prices are on the pricing page.
All major credit and debit cards. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Many practices have a professional development budget that covers continuing education and never advertise it. A receipt is available in your account for reimbursement.
